This qualification is intended for those who assess occupational competence in the work environment and vocational skills, knowledge and understanding in environments other than the workplace (for example a workshop, classroom or other training environment).
To be awarded the NCFE Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement, learners are required to complete all 3 mandatory units successfully.
Unit 1 – Understanding the principles and practices of assessment
Unit 2 – Assess occupational competence in the work environment
Unit 3 –Assess vocational skills, knowledge and understanding
The NCFE Level 3 Qualifications for Assessors are internally assessed and externally quality assured.
There are no placement hours for this qualification. However, you will need to be working/volunteering as a trainee assessor. (We may be able to help you find candidates to assess if needed).
